traffic cops act against those with 50+ challans
Gurugram, March 11 -- The traffic police in Gurugram on Tuesday issued notices to 106 vehicle owners who have failed to pay over 50 pending fines each, officials said. Around 142 commuters with large fine backlogs were identified after complaints about unpaid fines.
Dr Rajesh Mohan, deputy commissioner of police (traffic), said the notices were issued to owners registered in Gurugram. "The motorists with 50 or more challan backlogs have been instructed to immediately pay their due fines," he said....
