Ghaziabad, Feb. 11 -- Police on Tuesday said they have recovered one of the two mobile phones used by the three minor girls who allegedly jumped to their deaths from the ninth floor of their residence earlier this month, adding that the device has been sent for further forensic analysis. Investigators believe the phone may have been one of the triggers behind the February 4 incident involving the sisters, aged 11, 14 and 16, who were deeply immersed in Korean culture, watched online content frequently, and had not attended school for several years. According to police, their father had sold the shared smartphone days before the incident and deleted their social media account, which had around 2,000 followers. Assistant commissioner of police Atul Kumar Singh said the phone was traced to a shop owner in Shalimar Garden. Officials said the device had been factory-reset, and efforts are on to trace the second phone. The other phone had been sold of some five or six months ago....
