Gurugram, April 8 -- The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will remove encroachments on both sides of the road between Atul Kataria Chowk and Signature Tower crossing and develop green belts, a GMDA official said on Tuesday.
Presently, a large portion of the road, particularly near Atul Kataria Chowk, is heavily encroached by service stations, second-hand car shops, and other such establishments on one side and roadside parking on the other.

"There are several unauthorised service stations, shops, and vendors on this stretch, and these will be removed from the government land. We will ask an enforcement wing to identify the illegal structures. Thereafter, a tender will be issued to develop a green belt along the entire stretch," the official said.
The officials said the green belt will also help prevent the dumping of garbage and construction waste, and roadside parking. "The green spaces will be properly developed and barricaded to prevent any such violation," the official added....
