Gurugram, Nov. 6 -- DS Dhesi, principal advisor (urban development) to the Haryana government, on Thursday directed that the existing one-way traffic system on Galleria Market Road and Vyapar Kendra Road be retained until construction of an underpass at Z Chowk begins. At a district coordination committee meeting, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) chief executive officer PC Meena said work on the underpass near Millennium City Centre Metro station would begin soon, requiring traffic diversions and road closures. Dhesi asked GMDA and traffic police to jointly prepare a plan once construction begins. Residents of sectors 27, 28 43 and Sushant Lok had opposed two-way traffic on these roads.htc...
