New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- The University of Delhi on Monday suspended three Faculty of Law students allegedly involved in stalking and sexually harassing two female students in Mukherjee Nagar, following an FIR. The women were allegedly stalked on September 23 by men in an SUV while returning from Vijay Nagar. In a video that surfaced on September 24, one woman alleged the occupants made indecent remarks and followed them. "...when we tried to record a video, the car stopped and the occupants tried to drag us inside. But when my friend took out her phone, they fled," she claimed. HT could not independently verify the video.. "On the basis of the FIR...it is hereby notified that...a student of LLB, Law Centre-II, has been suspended from his course of studies with immediate effect," read a September 28 notice signed by DU proctor Manoj Kumar Singh. Entry to university premises was also banned. Similar notices were issued to the other two students.
