VARANASI, Nov. 9 -- While commending Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) excellence in loco production, cleanliness, and technological innovation, union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw invited employees at the workshop to share their suggestions for enhancing the quality and efficiency of locomotive manufacturing, stated BLW public relations officer Rajesh Kumar. Appreciating their valuable inputs, he emphasised, "There must be no compromise on quality in loco manufacturing. BLW should always be recognized for its high standards and spirit of innovation." Vaishnaw inspected BLW, accompanied by chairman, Railway Board, Satish Kumar, and BLW general manager Somesh Kumar. He carried out a detailed inspection of the loco frame shop, assembly shop, and test shop, obtaining technical insights into various stages of the manufacturing process. During the visit, he interacted with employees to discuss the finer aspects of loco production and motivated them, with special encouragement to the women employees.
