India, Aug. 30 -- Young delegates engaged in two days of debate, negotiation, deliberation, and collaborative problem-solving at the inaugural edition of ADHARMUN 2026, held on August 21-22. The two-day Model United Nations Conference, hosted by Ghaziabad-based Adharsheela Global School, aimed at nurturing critical thinking, diplomatic engagement, leadership and informed global citizenship among young minds. Based on the theme Diplomacy Beyond Borders: Shaping Tomorrow's World Today, the event featured five model committees: United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), United Nations Security Council (UNSC), All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) and International Press (IP). On Day 1, discussions ranged from human rights and global welfare to international security, national policies and domestic affairs. On the second day, delegates worked toward final resolutions, followed by prize distribution. Sneh International School emerged as the Best Delegation. Dr Deepak Vohra (Retired IFS), the Chief Guest for the valedictory ceremony, encouraged students to engage with the world as informed and responsible global citizens. The school's Senior Patron Ashok Sareen, along with Co-Patrons Jitender Sareen and Kapil Sareen, guided the event. Mentor Gauri Sareen supported the students, while Principal Reena Mathur formally declared the first committee sessions open. The conference concluded with students singing Vande Mataram, bringing the inaugural edition to a fitting close and leaving participants with a sense of national pride, shared learning and camaraderie.
