India, Aug. 7 -- The intricate warp and weft of Indian handloom take centre stage at an exhibition titled Weave the Future 2.0. Themed on The Regenerative Edition, it highlights Nature-aligned textile practices. Over 30 grassroots initiatives and brands are participating in this showcase. "We are showcasing our latest range... Each piece is handcrafted with eco-friendly block prints and naturally dyed handlooms by skilled artisan communities, says Indira Varma, fashion and textile designer and founder of the brand Dhi Earth. A collection hand-block-printed and hand-painted garments made with organic cotton is exhibited by 23degN 69degE. "We are also showcasing textile waste artworks created using leftover fabric scraps from our studio in Delhi," says founder Anas Sheikh. Viewers can also immerse themselves in installations like Soundscape by Sonam Khetan, Cotton 2.0 by Kora Design Collaborative, and What if every thread remembered? by Lafaani, and works by 11.11.
