By Sunday morning, those fears were confirmed, as the legendary singer passed away at 92. She had been admitted on Saturday evening due to exhaustion and a chest infection. Her son, Anand Bhosle, confirmed her passing and said her last rites will be held on Monday. One of India's most iconic and versatile playback singers, Bhosle built a career spanning over eight decades.
