India, Oct. 24 -- Veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai is reuniting with actor Shreyas Talpade after 20 years for his upcoming film Manya. The two last worked together on Iqbal (2005), in which Talpade played a deaf and mute cricketer, with actor Naseeruddin Shah as his coach. The film received critical acclaim and commercial success. Speaking about their new collaboration, Ghai, who marks 50 years in Indian cinema, said, "Working with Shreyas Talpade for this film has been a wonderful experience. He is an exceptionally versatile actor who has demonstrated his range through films like Iqbal, Apna Sapna Money Money (2006) and Golmaal Again (2017)." Directed by Sameer Joshi, Manya follows a juvenile thief living in the slums. "His (Shreyas) performance in this film has once again reminded me of his ability to bring authenticity and depth to a character," Ghai added.
