Ravi Shastri reveals Dhoni, Kohli earn Rs.100 cr annually from ads
India, July 27 -- Former India coach Ravi Shastri recently appeared on the Stick to Cricket podcast, hosted by ex-England cricketers Michael Vaughan, Alastair Cook, Phil Tufnell, and David Lloyd, where he discussed how much top Indian cricketers earn.
Ravi said MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Sachin Tendulkar earn over Rs.100 crore yearly, mainly from brand endorsements. When Michael asked for a conversion, Ravi clarified: "They earn a lot through endorsements, upwards of a hundred crores, I would say ten million. You just calculate." He said these cricketers managed 15-20 ads a day.
