India, May 16 -- Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who will portray Rama in director Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming film Ramayana, has now purchased a plot of land in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the birthplace of Shri Ram. The deal, worth nearly Rs.3.31 crore, covers a 2,134-square-foot plot, a 75-acre riverside project located along the Sarayu river. Talking about this development, Ranbir said in a statement, "I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling."
