India, Oct. 29 -- The Bihar Museum in Patna has earned a place among the world's leading museums, ranking ninth on Germany-based travel guide Worth a Journey's World's 100 Best Museums list for 2026. It is also ranked the No. 1 museum in Asia, and has even outranked New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, which came in 10th, and Paris's Louvre, ranked 31st. Inaugurated in 2015, the museum spreads across a 13-acre campus designed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki, a Pritzker Prize winner. Its collection brings together ancient historical artefacts dating back to 1764, alongside vibrant displays of traditional, folk and contemporary art. HTC...
