India, Aug. 31 -- A new intensive care unit (ICU) was inaugurated at Babe Ke Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Daudhar in the Moga district of Punjab, on the occasion of Charak Jayanti on August 25. The facility was inaugurated by Prof Vd Dr Rakesh Sharma, former president, Board of Ethics and Registration for Indian System of Medicine (BERISM), with the blessings of Sant Baba Nahar Singh and in the presence of Sant Baba Kapoor Singh. Developed by the Babe Ke Educational Trust and Foundation, the modern ICU features advanced ventilators and equipment to enhance critical care and emergency services for the rural community. To mark the occasion, a free medical camp was also held that benefited more than 450 residents, offering eye check-ups, ECG exams and consultations.
