India, Aug. 15 -- S inger Rahul Sipligunj, best known for Naatu Naatu (RRR, 2022), has spoken out after a woman filed an FIR this week alleging blackmail in connection with a marriage dispute. In an interview with Beyond News on YouTube, Rahul explained why the FIR was filed, saying the prime accused, Karpurapu Rahul Reddy, is his wife's relative. "When the complaint was initially filed, the advocate she [the victim] approached spoke on both of our behalf. It riled her up to file a complaint against all of us, including me. I spoke to the victim as soon as the news broke and she claimed that the advocate, who was also named in the FIR, had leaked it. A compromise has been reached since then," he said. The complaint was filed at the MVP Colony police station in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, and has since been transferred to the Women's Police Station. However, Rahul's claim of a compromise contradicts what the police told TV9 Telugu on Wednesday.HTC...
