India, July 10 -- Actor Justin Baldoni, 42, has spoken for the first time about his legal dispute with It Ends with Us (2024) co-star Blake Lively, 38, following their out of court settlement in May. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Justin and his wife Emily Baldoni, 41, spoke about how they navigated the difficult period together, without mentioning Blake's name. "We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years... It just didn't feel like the right time," Justin said, adding that they wanted to "let the justice system run its course." Emily expressed that they have "immense gratitude for ... so many people and so many things that have happened to us." She further noted that their gratitude "doesn't negate the injustice and the pain that we have also felt in the last few years. We've had to wrestle with so many things... like how could something like this even happen? Let alone disguised as a fight for women," adding, "There has been a lot of trauma." Reflecting on the aftermath, Justin added, "We are healing... We've had to rethink what is real, and what matters." The couple's remarks come nearly two years after Blake sued Justin and other It Ends with Us cast members in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment and retaliation.
