India, Oct. 31 -- Strap: Get set for a fusion playlist this year as DJ bookings soar The DJ's are the life of all Halloween parties and this year a few have some fusion sets in plans to give Halloween a new twist, "There's a lot of house, bolly-tech, and techno that usually fits the Halloween vibe. But this year, I've got a special surprise for my Delhiite friends - a fusion of Punjabi tracks mixed with Brazilian tunes," says DJ Khushi, adding, "More than the music, it's the energy of the room that matters. Everyone shows up in quirky costumes, and I make sure my outfit matches the madness too." Meanwhile, DJ Sumit Sethi says the Halloween craze in the Capital is at an all-time high. "I've received nearly 50 booking inquiries in the past couple of weeks to perform at Halloween parties - that says it all. The turnout keeps growing every year, and Delhi-NCR is really embracing the spooky spirit," he adds. Finger food literally No party is complete without food.. and one that goes with the theme. Nisha Malhotra, a Gurugram-based home chef shares, "Halloween week has been my busiest this year as I have 10-15 orders already for different parties. People are calling in with the wildest requests. Everyone wants creepy-themed food - finger foods that literally look like fingers, cupcakes with candy eyeballs, and skeleton platters made of fries and sausages. It's like I'm running a mini haunted kitchen." When cute meets creepy in Halloween decor "This year, everyone wants their home to look like a spooky movie set - dramatic lights, floating ghosts, the whole deal," says Delhi-based event planner Rhea Bhatia, who's been transforming Delhi-NCR homes into haunted hangouts. "Labubu dolls are the new showstoppers as that is what has been trending this year . People want them hanging from chandeliers or sitting by candy bowls. They're creepy-cute and totally stealing the spotlight from the pumpkins this year!"...
