India, Oct. 8 -- Hollywood actor Halle Berry's ex-husband, French actor Olivier Martinez, recently obtained a restraining order against her after accusing her of hitting their 12-year-old son, Maceo. Now, Berry has approached the court seeking restoration of their original50/50 custody arrangement from August 2023. Berry has also asked to be reinstated as the tie-breaking authority under the original agreement and wants Martinez to be required to attend their family therapy sessions. While Berry, 60, did not respond to Martinez's recent accusations, she alleged in court documents, obtained by People, that his anger towards her affects her relationship with their son. "When Maceo would come home from his custodial time with Olivier, he would be angry and combative. It took Maceo 2-3 days to acclimate to being at home and when he would go back to Olivier, the cycle would start all over again," she alleged. She added in her filing, "(Martinez's) refusal to allow early interventions have caused Maceo to fall further behind in school, caused Maceo's acting out behaviors to worsen, and caused further damage to Maceo's and [Berry's] relationship." She also alleged that Martinez has yet to accept her fiance, Van Hunt, as her partner and refuses to include him in family therapy. Martinez, in his response, urged the court to dismiss Berry's request, alleging there is a risk of "immediate danger" to their son after she allegedly physically abused Maceo. htc...
