India, July 26 -- What if celebrated Mexican artist Frida Kahlo had been born in India? This was the starting point for Rang-e-Rooh, the latest collection by Petticoat Lane by Divya. The designer reimagines Frida through the language of Indian textiles, heirloom craftsmanship, and hand embroidery. Inspired by Frida's fearless spirit, the collection features intricate patchwork embroidery, layered motifs and patterns, vibrant colours and fluid silhouettes. Rang-e-Rooh was unveiled at Motifs & Memory at Ensemble, Ambawatta, Delhi, an immersive Art x Fashion exhibition celebrating heritage, craftsmanship and storytelling.
