Fashion frat mourns the loss of Valentino

he world of high fashion lost its most romantic architect on January 19. Valentino Garavani, known simply as Valentino, passed away peacefully at his home in Rome at the age of 93. Founder of his eponymous fashion house, Valentino leaves behind an enduring legacy. As the world mourns him, the loss is felt just as deeply by the fashion community back home.
Twenty years before entering the Indian market in 2022, Valentino's spring couture collection paid homage to India. He viewed Indian textiles and craftsmanship as a primary "reference for beauty and grace," stating that while the line was entirely India-inspired, the country's heritage remained a constant theme throughout his career.
In September 2007, shortly after Valentino announced his retirement, late Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani paid a rare and touching tribute to his peer during his runway show in Milan. Armani, known for his signature palette of greys, beiges, and "greige," broke his own colour rules by incorporating the colour red....
