India, May 30 -- L uxury and sports are seeing a crossover that few fans of either could have imagined. On Wednesday, Italian luxury house Gucci announced a multi-year agreement to become the title partner of Alpine's Formula 1 team. The partnership is set to begin in the 2027 season. While financial details remain undisclosed, industry estimates suggest the deal could be worth over $150 million (approx Rs.14,400 crore). The team will compete under the name Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team. Gucci is not the first luxury house to enter sports. In recent years, LVMH signed a major long-term partnership with Formula 1 in 2025, bringing maisons such as Louis Vuitton, TAG Heuer and Moet & Chandon into the sport as official partners. HTC...
