Drake gets an F1-style ice car
India, June 3 -- Canadian rapper Drake has taken promotions of his new album ICEMAN to a freezing new level. To celebrate the release of his ninth studio album, the 39-year-old's team surprised him with a life-sized ice sculpture of an F1 car.
The installation pays homage to F1 legend Kimi Raikkonen, famously known as The Iceman for his detached demeanour, when he was honoured with a similar ice car at the Monaco Grand Prix in 2006. To get the details right, Drake's team sourced the original CAD blueprints of Raikkonen's McLaren MP4-21 race car.
Interestingly, the album's release date was promoted earlier through a giant ice sculpture in Toronto. htc...
