India, July 21 -- A romantic evening in Geneva could cost nearly five times more than in Delhi, according to Deutsche Bank's Mapping the World's Prices 2026 report. Its "Cheap Date Index" estimates a date in Delhi at about $103 (Rs.9,920), compared with $475 (Rs.45,750) in Geneva. Geneva and Zurich remain the world's most expensive cities overall, while Luxembourg topped the quality-of-life rankings. Delhi did not make the top 50 for liveability and also ranked among the cities with the lowest salaries. Elsewhere, Hong Kong remained the costliest property market, Athens recorded the sharpest rise in rents, and Tokyo emerged as surprisingly affordable, from housing and dining to iPhones. HTC...
