Unless you've been living under a rock, chances are you've already come across a few. Among the most popular is the catchphrase he said during a podcast, "Money follows, maah brothaaar", which seems to have found a fan in Delhi Police as well. Giving the trending catchphrase a traffic-themed twist, Delhi Police on Thursday shared a tongue-in-cheek road safety awareness post (inset above) across its social media platforms that read: "Break traffic laws, fine follows, maah brothaaar." The post is part of Delhi Police's ongoing effort to connect with younger audiences through relatable, pop culture-inspired awareness campaigns, by tapping into viral songs, memes and movie references. The strategy appears to be working, as the comments section quickly turned into a meme fest of its own. One social media user wrote, "If memes can stop even one traffic violation, this is content done right," while another user joked, "Social media admin deserves a raise... money follows, maah brothaaar!"
