Marking Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, observed on August 14, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is displaying photographs at these stations, taking commuters through the stories, horrors, suffering and mass displacement that followed the 1947 Partition. The exhibition offers a glimpse into the experiences of millions who were forced to leave their homes. Alongside capturing the period, the images also highlight how the events of 1947 reshaped the very social fabric of India.
