India, Aug. 15 -- A LinkedIn post by a management consultant, Tushar Jejani, has caught the internet's attention. He recalled taking a cab at around 4.13am in New Delhi where the driver was speaking in English on his phone while driving. The behaviour initially made him uncomfortable. "I got a little scared and started listening more carefully because, for a moment, I thought he was sharing our location and details with someone else," Jejani wrote, adding that noticing his discomfort, the driver started talking to him. When Jejani finally asked who he had been speaking to on the phone, the driver revealed, "Nahi bhaiya, phone par nahi. Main English bolne ki practice kar raha tha ChatGPT par." Revealing his motivation behind it, the driver said, "Meri abhi beti hui hai. Uske liye seekh raha hoon. Jab badi hogi, usko bhi sikhaunga." The reasoning hit Jejani, who wrote, "He was not just learning English. He was quietly trying to build a different starting line for his daughter in life," crediting Artificial Intelligence (AI) for creating an equal environment. Social media was left fascinated by the incident as one user wrote, "AI's greatest impact may not be replacing jobs, but removing the barriers that once kept ambition from becoming opportunity."
