India, April 18 -- With Daniel Craig stepping away from the iconic role of James Bond after No Time to Die (2021), anticipation around the next 007 continues to build. While speculation has been rife, Amazon MGM Studios has indicated that it is in no rush to announce Craig's successor, stressing a careful and considered approach. "Now, I know you're all wondering when we're going to announce who's playing James Bond. Don't get too excited. Please know that we're taking the time to do this with care and deep respect. It is the dream of a lifetime for all of us to bring audiences this next chapter, and it's a responsibility we don't take lightly," said Courtenay Valenti, head of film at Amazon MGM Studios, as quoted by Variety. She added that key announcements will be made at the right time, pointing to a strong creative team already in place. The next instalment will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, with producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman, executive producer Tanya Lapointe, and a script by Steven Knight. The update comes amid ongoing speculation around casting, with names like Jacob Elordi, Callum Turner and Louis Partridge being linked to the role. Craig, who headlined five Bond films including Casino Royale and Skyfall, concluded his run with the 2021 release. ANI...
