India, Aug. 23 -- A Bengaluru cafe has landed in hot water after a customer allegedly found the words "Little fat black shirt" printed under the customer details section of his bill instead of his name. The incident, reported at The Craftery by Subko in Koramangala, prompted the coffee brand to issue a public apology and acknowledge that the description had been knowingly entered by an employee. Sharing photographs of the receipt on Reddit, the customer wrote, "Under Customer Detail, instead of my name, I found: 'Little fat black shirt.' Yes. That was apparently enough to identify me." Calling out the remark as body-shaming, he added that staff could have used his name, table number or order number instead. He also questioned why body-shaming directed at men is sometimes brushed off as humour. "Body-shaming isn't funny just because the person on the receiving end is a man," he wrote. The post caught Subko's attention, with the company later sharing a detailed statement on its official Instagram account: "Fat shaming is wrong. Every form. Every time. No exceptions. It was cruel, and it happened under our roof."
