India, Sept. 20 -- B eauty is often associated with what the eyes can see. But for beauty entrepreneur and philanthropist Shahnaz Husain, it goes much deeper - into confidence, dignity, skill and the ability to become self-reliant. Taking forward her long-standing commitment to empowering persons with disabilities, Husain recently visited a Delhi blind school, where she presented beauty training diplomas to 40 visually impaired students. The occasion was more than a certificate distribution ceremony. For the students, the diplomas represented a new skill, a new possibility and a step towards greater independence. Husain's Shasight, the beauty academy for the visually impaired, is the only beauty institute offering comprehensive beauty courses in Braille, empowering visually impaired students. HTC...
