A winter carnival that came with carols and a cause
India, Dec. 15 -- As the Capital slipped into its year-end party mood, a winter carnival brought a burst of festive cheer to the city. Hosted by NGO Tamana on Saturday, the event offered Delhiites a chance to celebrate the season while shopping for a cause.
More than 100 vendors lined the venue with an eclectic mix of offerings from designer wear and home decor to playful accessories. The afternoon was formally inaugurated by British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron.
Adding warmth to the bustling marketplace were performances by children, who filled the space with the joy of Christmas carols, including We Wish You a Merry Christmas....
