India, Aug. 12 -- New Delhi's culture calendar got a grand upgrade on August 7 as the 30th Parampara Series - The National Festival of Dance & Music opened to a packed house at Kamani Auditorium. Organised by Natya Tarangini, founded by Kuchipudi icons Drs. Raja Radha Reddy and Kaushalya Reddy, the three-day festival began with a packed evening of classical arts. Pt. Shubhendra Rao (sitar), Vidushi Saskia Rao (cello), and Ishaan Rao (piano) started the night with their fusion piece Triveni, followed by a Spanish classic, Asturias. The Raja Radha Reddy Troupe mesmerised the audience with Hari-Hara production an ode to Hari as Krishna doing Kalianartana and Hara as Shivam Mahapranadeepam. Spotted in the audience were Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Lakshmi Puri, Shallu Jindal, and Dr Jyotsna Suri. The festival that ran till August 9, also featured performances by Pt. Sajan Mishra, Swaransh Mishra, and Pavitra Bhat on the final day. HTC...
