India, Oct. 15 -- P rajakta Koli had her acting breakthrough with the web series Mismatched in 2020. Six years on, the show is set to come to an end with its fourth season, which is expected to release by the end of the year. The team wrapped up the shoot last month, and Koli admits that bidding farewell to the show has been an emotional experience. "I have been Dimple for seven years. Every season, I'd cry on the last day of shoot, but I'd wipe my tears and say I'll come back for the next season. This time, Rohit (Suresh Saraf, co-actor) and I would look at each other from across the room and dread the day it would be our last. But I remain hopeful because it's a beautiful romance and romantic story toh chalti rehni chahiye. I hope the audience watches it so much that the makers are forced to make more," the actor shares. Interestingly, a series finale doesn't necessarily mean the end. In July, British series Heartstopper returned as a movie on OTT after concluding its three-season run in 2024, while the American series The Summer I Turned Pretty, which ended after three seasons last year, is set to return as a movie in 2027. Ask Koli if Mismatched could follow a similar path, and she says, "Yes, you never know; we may come back as a movie. Every time on shoot, Rohit and I would discuss that it doesn't deserve to end," she concludes....
