A grand salute to India's spirit
India, Aug. 16 -- SNEH International School marked India's 80th Independence Day with a grand celebration, that reflected its commitment to nation-building through education. Blending patriotic fervour with artistic excellence, the programme paid tribute to the ideals of freedom, unity and responsible citizenship.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Air Marshal Rajiv Dayal Mathur PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.); Honoured Guest Shipra Mathur; Chairman Dr. Subhash Chander Dhingra; Director-Manager Kamlesh Jacob; Director of Strategic Planning Alka Mathur; and Principal Komal.
The programme began with an archery display, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag and the National Anthem, setting a tone of pride and reverence. The cultural segment brought the students' remarkable talent to the fore. A patriotic choir filled the venue with soulful melodies, and a multidisciplinary act combining gymnastics, skating, theatre, dance and music brought the timeless philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam to life.
The students celebrated India's rich cultural heritage while conveying a powerful message of peace, unity and global harmony with their performance, which earned a prolonged applause from the audience.
The programme concluded with the symbolic release of white pigeons and tricolour balloons, with a resounding chorus of "Jai Hind!" Through initiatives bringing together values, creativity and excellence, SNEH International School continues to nurture compassionate leaders, responsible citizens and proud Indians, reaffirming its belief in education as a powerful force for national progress.
