'We are ready to rock India like a hurricane, again!'

early two decades after their last multi-city tour in India in 2008, German hard rock band Scorpions are set to return.
Their upcoming Coming Home tour in April will see them perform across Shillong, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
For the band members, the return after such a long gap feels surreal. Frontman Klaus Meine says, "There might be a whole new generation in front of the stage in 2026. So, we're very excited to be back," says.
Recalling their earlier concerts in the country, guitarist Rudolf Schenker adds, "We remember spicy foods. We remember bamboo stages. And exciting, crazy audiences."
Across their six-decade career, Scorpions have delivered anthems such as Wind of Change and Rock You Like a Hurricane, which found a new, younger audience after featuring in the series Stranger Things.
Among their most enduring tracks, Wind of Change still carries a message that feels relevant. Reflecting on the song, written at the end of the Cold War in 1989, Klaus says it continues to echo in today's conflict-ridden world. "It was written when the door to peace and freedom was wide open. These days the clock is turning backwards. But music is like soul food; we need it in good times and bad times," he concludes....
