Lucknow, June 19 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Ayodhya and offer prayers at Ram temple on Friday, officials aware of the matter said on Thursday, with the visit comes amid ongoing allegations of embezzlement of funds at the grand temple. The CM, officials said, will also visit Hanumangarhi and inaugurate the Ram Wax Museum. On Thursday, the special investigation team (SIT) formed to probe the embezzlement allegations questioned the temple trust member, Anil Mishra, and Ram Temple administrator Gopal Rao regarding the counting of money donated to the temple and the appointment of staff involved in the process, officials said. State Congress president Ajay Rai raised questions over the handling of donations received for the Ram temple, while visiting the temple on Thursday.
