India, March 7 -- A ctor Yami Gautam Dhar has issued a clarification after social media users noticed that she had 'liked' a Reel on Instagram that appeared to shade actor Kriti Sanon, 35. The clip referenced Kriti's Best Actress win at a recent award show on March 1. Addressing the issue in a note (inset above) posted on social media on Thursday, the 37-year-old said, without naming Kriti specifically, that it "isn't true" and was "not done consciously", adding that "it may have been clicked accidentally". The Reel surfaced after Kriti won Best Actress for Tere Ishk Mein (2025). However, some online users felt Yami deserved the honour for her performance in Haq (2025). The edited clip showed Kriti celebrating her win, intercut with an old interview of Yami saying, "You try everything, and it still doesn't work. So, I've stopped seeking any kind of validation."
