Workshop on medical emergencies held at GGS
Chandigarh, Sept. 11 -- A workshop on 'Common medical emergencies in school' was organised for the helper staff at the Gurukul Global School auditorium to enhance their awareness, preparedness, and confidence in responding appropriately to medical emergencies on the school premises. The session was conducted by Deepa, who provided practical guidance on recognising and managing common medical emergencies that may occur among students and staff.
The workshop addressed several important situations, including fainting, minor injuries, nosebleeds, fever, seizures, choking, allergic reactions, and other sudden health concerns.
The interactive session enabled the helper staff to develop a better understanding of their role and responsibilities in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and timely care of students during unforeseen medical situations.
