Workshop for teachers held at Sri Guru Harkrishan
Chandigarh, June 5 -- As per the guidelines of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society, Amritsar, a Faculty Enrichment Programme was organised on June 01, 2026 at Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh.
Around 60 teachers from various schools functioning under the Chief Khalsa Diwan participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. The session, titled 'From Control to Connection: Building Effective Classrooms', was conducted by Nilesh Arora, executive director management, Chandigarh University.
The session focused on transforming traditional classroom management practices into relationship-centered teaching approaches.Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants explored strategies to create inclusive classrooms, build trust with students, encourage collaboration, and address behavioural challenges constructively. The session witnessed active participation from the teachers, who shared their classroom experiences and gained valuable insights into creating positive and productive learning environments. The programme was graced by Paramjit Singh, president, school managing committee, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged educators to continuously strengthen their professional competencies in line with contemporary educational needs. At the end of the session, Shama Kukkal, principal, expressed her gratitude to the resource person for sharing his expertise and presented a token of appreciation on behalf of the school....
