Panchkula, Feb. 12 -- Two persons have been arrested for allegedly duping a Pinjore resident of Rs.10.8 lakh in the name of share trading. The complainant had told the police that unidentified persons had lured him with promises of high returns on share trading, and got him to invest. During investigations, police found that the defrauded amount had been deposited in a bank branch in Surat, Gujarat. The account holder was identified as Patel Nirav Kumar, is a resident of Surat. Subsequent investigations revealed the account was being used by his associate, Patel Kriti Kumar. Both accused were served notices and arrested on February 2 after sufficient evidence was found against them.
