Twin shootings belie AAP's claimof reining in gangsters: Cong
Chandigarh, Jan. 29 -- Congress MLA Pargat Singh on Wednesday claimed that two shootings in a day has belied Punjab government's claims of reigning in gangsters.
"Criminals are now openly challenging the police and government right at their doorsteps. While the police claim to be hunting gangsters, these criminals are boldly committing murders," the former minister said, reacting to the murders of a 43-year-old chemist in Dera Baba Nanak and Gurvinder Singh, who was shot dead outside the gate of the office of Mohali SSP.
