Agartala, Oct. 6 -- A man was killed in a clash during counting of votes of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) village council polls in Tripura, results of which were declared on Monday, police said. The man, identified as Motilal Karmakar, is known to be TIPRA Motha party worker. Police said that the deceased was injured during a clash that occurred between workers of the same party during counting process at Tulasikhar in Khowai district. He succumbed to injuries at a hospital here. The counting of the votes began at 8am and it also witnessed tension at some counting centres with protests and road blockades in Sepahijala and Dhalai districts. TIPRA Motha party MLA Ranjit Debbarma said, "He died due to injuries received from lathi charge by the BSF. We have video footage with us. We shall file a complaint soon"....
