Time for Hooda to retire from politics, says BJP leader
Rohtak, May 9 -- Senior BJP leader and former minister Krishnamurti Hooda has advised the former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to either join the BJP or retire from active politics, claiming that the "game" of the Hooda father-son duo is over.
Speaking to reporters here, he said, "Bhupinder and Deepender's game is finished. Their names will be wiped out from politics. Now is the right time for him to take retirement from politics." He said that as someone who has worked very closely with Hooda in the past, he felt it was his duty to offer this advice.
He claimed that a large number of Congress workers have already joined the BJP. He cited the recent joining of sarpanches from 51 villages as evidence that the BJP is functioning on the "strength of Congress" itself. He predicted that Congress would remain out of power in Haryana for the next 20-25 years. He also expressed his interest to contest against Bhupinder Singh Hooda if he was fielded by the BJP from Garhi-Sampla-Kiloi. He accused the Congress of not taking elections seriously and running politics from home....
