India, Aug. 20 -- Actor Kushal Tandon's entry into the reality show Alliance came with questions about how he would interact with content creator and choreographer Zaid Darbar, husband of his former partner and actor, Gauahar Khan. As the show has finally ended, Kushal says there was no awkwardness between them and that the two eventually became good friends. "I didn't see him as somebody's husband. I saw him as a contestant," he says, adding that they "gelled up like boarding school guys". Kushal also points out that his relationship with Gauahar dates back around 15 years, and that everyone involved has moved on "We all grew up, and we are all mature people. And we meet outside also. There's no bad blood," he adds. Kushal also addresses his "Tujhe meri cheezein pasand aati hai" remark to Zaid, during their stint in the show, which drew attention because of his past with Gauahar. He says the comment was simply part of their banter. "When we smoke, he (Zaid) wants my cigarette. When I make coffee, he wants my coffee. When I make protein shake, he wants my protein shake. I told him that you like only my stuff," he explains, adding, "We took that as a joke." Recently, Zaid also confirmed that Kushal did apologise to him and his family for the remark, although the apology was not aired. "I spoke to him (Kushal) inside. Woh toh aapko ek ghante mein I don't think so woh dikha hoga, kyunki woh 23 ghante mujhe hi pata hai andar kya hua," Zaid recalled, adding, "Kushal even apologised and said, 'I'm sorry. Zaid ki family ko main bahut respect karta hoon, aisa humara kuch thought process tha hi nahin'."...
