Chandigarh, March 20 -- The city recorded 4.8 mm rain on Thursday that caused the maximum temperature to drop from 27.8degC on Wednesday to 20.8degC, a chilly eight degrees below normal. The minimum temperature, on the other hand, rose from 13.5degC to 14.7degC, also one degree below normal. According to the India Meteorological department, more rain is likely in the city on Friday due to an active Western Disturbance, and cloudy weather will follow over the weekend....
