Teachers' Day celebrations held at St Joseph's School
Chandigarh, Sept. 11 -- At St Joseph's Senior Secondary School, Sector 44-D, Teachers' Day is not simply an occasion to honour teachers-it is a moment to celebrate the heart behind the profession.
At the community in Sector-25, teachers shared enriching activities with children, creating moments of curiosity and possibility. At Satya Sai old age home, the day took a gentler turn as conversations, memories and companionship brought warmth to both sides. At Sector-30, learning unfolded through engaging activities, while Aashiyana for Girls, Sector 15, became a space for confidence, creativity and self-expression.
At Prayaas, Sector-38, enthusiasm and participation transformed learning into discovery. At the institute for the blind, teachers experienced the profound beauty of inclusive learning, where ability, determination and aspiration spoke louder than limitations. At JJ Homes, meaningful interactions fostered connection and encouragement. Government Model School, Sector-35 (senior secondary), witnessed an enriching exchange of ideas, while SOREM, Sector 36-C, offered yet another reminder of the transformative power of inclusion. Shimmi was honoured with the State Award, while Anita Gareja received a commendation for their exemplary contributions to education.
