Tanker attacked, 3 crew injured
MUMBAI, April 27 -- Three crew members aboard a Togo-flagged oil/cheminal tanker were injured after the vessel was hit by projectiles or shrapnel in the West Asia war zone, the directorate general of shipping confirmed on Sunday.
According to a statement, the incident took place somewhere in the Iran-US/Israel war zone, involving MT Chiron 7. The vessel was not directly targeted but sustained damage to its navigation bridge area, leaving three crew members injured. No fatalities were reported and the remaining crew are safe, the statement added.
It was not immediately known if any of the injured crew members were Indians. HTC...
