Rohtak, June 13 -- Two days after suspending a Rohtak-based guest teacher who allegedly took part in the June 6 Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, the Haryana education department withdrew the suspension orders on Friday. The district elementary education department (DEEO), Rohtak, issued a fresh order on June 11, revoking its June 10 order that placed Sulekha Dalal, a primary guest teacher at Government Middle School, Rainakpura, Rohtak, under suspension. The suspension has been withdrawn with immediate effect. The order, signed by DEEO Bijender Hooda, directed the concerned authorities, including the block education officer and school headmaster, to ensure compliance and inform the teacher accordingly. The latest communication, however, does not specify the reasons behind the government's decision to withdraw the action. Speaking with HT, Hooda said, "We have withdrawn the suspension order and now we have written to the higher authorities to take a decision on this matter."
