Chandigarh, March 6 -- The Punjab government on Thursday reinstated and posted suspended IAS officer KK Yadav as secretary general, administration and coordination. A 2003 batch officer, Yadav, who was earlier the secretary for industries and investments promotion, was suspended on February 7, along with 2014-batch IAS officer Jaspreet Singh, over alleged irregularities in the procurement of smartphones for the department of social security, women and child welfare development through Punjab Infotech. According to the fresh orders, PCS officer Sandeep Singh Garha, posted as additional director, information and public relations has also been posted as commissioner, Mohali municipal corporation.htc...
