Panchkula, July 6 -- The second day of the 7-day NSS Camp at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, featured an informative and educational visit to the Fire Station. The NSS volunteers had the opportunity to interact with fire safety personnel and gain firsthand knowledge about fire prevention, emergency response, and rescue operations. During the visit, the officials familiarized the students with various firefighting equipment, fire engines and essential safety measures to be followed during emergencies. The volunteers also witnessed a live demonstration of firefighting techniques and rescue procedures, which highlighted the importance of preparedness, teamwork and prompt action during crisis situations. Speaking on the occasion, principal Gulshan Kaur emphasised the importance of creating awareness about fire safety and disaster management among young citizens.
