New Delhi, July 9 -- Several students who appeared for the Sociology paper in the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test on June 30 have alleged the examination paper was leaked, prompting demands for a probe by the National Testing Agency. The alleged leak has already been raised by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, who accused the Centre of "failing to safeguard" the future of aspirants. Students alleged a PDF of handwritten questions prepared by NTA experts circulated before the examination. HT has a copy of the PDF but could not independently verify whether questions in the PDF were identical to those asked in the examination.
